Fort McMurray is filled with fun activities for July. There are events going on almost daily. Check out some of the events happening at the beginning of July.

Canada Day July Market

This event will have a variety of vendors for you to enjoy. Begins July 1 at 11:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM. Takes place on 151 Mac Donald Drive.

Canada Day Pancake Breakfast

Celebrate Canada’s birthday by joining the RMWB for a free pancake breakfast. Follow up breakfast by watching the Canada Day Parade. Breakfast will be served on July 1 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Dameon Hadfield Memorial Moccasin Classic

On July 5th from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, you can experience the 3rd annual Dameon Hadfield Memorial Moccasin Classic, which includes dinner, silent auction and award presentations. Dinner is $40 per person. There is a fee of $175 per person or $650 per team of four.

Storage Auction!

If treasure hunting is your thing, then don’t miss the Storage Auction’s on July 5th from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at McMurray Mini Storage. You never know what might be hiding behind those storage unit doors. Located at 170 MacLennan Crescent in Fort McMurray.

Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts

Scott Weiland was the lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots. He will be performing live with his new band the Wildabouts on July 5th at 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Location is the Nexen Field House in MacDonald Island Park. Tickets are $59 for general seating, and $79 for club seating.

East Coast Garden Party

Come enjoy meeting old and new friends as you partake in two evenings of music, activities and fun filled events for the whole family. This party will begin on July 11 and go through July 12th. Each day from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Acts such as Nazareth and The Trews will preform on the first night, and George Canyon, Cod Gone Wild and St. James Gate on the second night.
