Three Events Coming to Fort Mac for the Holiday Season
Fort McMurray is preparing for the holiday season during the month of November with many special events. Christmas will begin early with special Santa visits and much more. The entire family should be included in all the excitement as part of the Festival of Trees for the Northern Lights Health Foundation.
Christmas at the Suncor Community Leisure Centre
All ages are welcome to visit the Suncor Community Leisure Centre at MacDonald Park to have Christmas fun with Santa Claus. Be sure not to miss a single minute of the magic show, Christmas sing-along, story time with Santa, and much more. Snacks will be available from 1pm until 4pm on November 22nd. A cash donation to the Health Foundation will be the entrance fee. What better way to help a great cause and have some fun too?
Festival of Trees Gala
The Centre is also having the Festival of Trees Gala on November 21st at 6pm until November 22nd at 1am to celebrate the holiday season. The event is limited to adults over 18 years old and requires preregistration. Christmas Show & Market
MacDonald Island Park will also be the location for the 2015 Christmas Show & Market. The Trade Show will begin on November 27th from 1pm until 9pm, 10am until 8 pm on the 28th, and 10am until 5pm on the 29th. Come one, come all, and children six and under are free or purchase a family daily pass for $20 (Includes two children and two adults).
