Here and There Exhibit Now Open

The MacDonald Island Community Art Gallery has opened the Here and There Exhibit for the public. It opened on January 23rd and will be available until March 1st.

The Exhibit

This exhibit features paintings from two artists: Shauna Kelly and Kritsana Naowakhun. It's a traveling exhibit and has recently made its way to the Fort McMurray area.

Both of the artists use landscapes in their work with plenty of water, land and cityscapes. A focus of connecting the landscapes with nostalgia is a feature found throughout.

If you enjoy art bursting with colour, Shauna Kelly and Kritsana Naowakhun provide just what you're after. This will be one of the top art exhibits making it to the area in 2014.

Other Exhibits at the Gallery

Along with the special traveling exhibits that come to the Art Gallery often, you can also enjoy many other pieces throughout the Mi Art Gallery. This is one of the best places to discover art in Wood Buffalo. You will find plenty of visual art throughout including the Mi Legacy Wall.
