Halloween Events in Fort McMurray [2022]: 9 Spookiest Halloween Parties
The scary season is nearly here, and it's time to find the right events for your fun Halloween in the city of Fort McMurray. Whether you need a place to take the kids or somewhere specifically for adults, you can find it here. Some of the top events include:
Tipsy Trivia's The Office Trivia: Halloween Edition

Are you a fan of The Office? Have a friend that is? Good at guessing? Or maybe you just want the entertainment value of watching people try to answer trivia after having a few drinks. If any of these sound like you, you're sure to have a blast at The Canadian Brewhouse on October 11th!
Solo contestants and teams of up to 6 can register to compete in four rounds of trivia about the Halloween episodes of The Office. Hundreds of dollars in prizes are on the line, whether being won by the top three teams, as door prizes, or to the winners of the costume contest! Do note that spectators also require tickets.
Junior Boo

Held at the Boys and Girls Club of Fort McMurray, this weekend-long spooktacular will have everything from bouncy castles and carnival games to face painting and prizes! Entry is free, but tickets can be purchased at the door with proceeds going toward funding children's and youth programs. Learn more at the BGC website.
Fort McMurray International Airport Family Halloween Event

It's all about the kids at the Family Halloween Party! Held on Level 1 of the airport, this party will have a DJ, trick-or-treating, a best costume contest, and other fun activities for all ages. You can even get a family photo to commemorate the occasion in exchange for a donation benefitting the United Way Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo.
Parking is free for event guests. Guardians need to register children in advance but don't need to register themselves.
Spooky Scary Halloween Stunting Party + Boo-Tastic Halloween Preschool Camp
- Preschool Camp: Oct. 28, 8:30–10:30 a.m.
- Stunting Party: Oct. 28, 5:30–7 p.m.
- Location for both: Premier Academy Fort McMurray, 8115 Franklin Ave, Fort McMurray (Fieldhouse 4 inside Keyano College)

Premier Academy is hosting two Halloween events this year, and both are sure to be a frightful delight!
The Boo-Tastic Halloween Preschool Camp is being held for ages 3–5 and will be filled with fun events, including games, circuits, arts and crafts, and storytime. Costumes are welcome, though please leave any props at home, as well as any costume that may present a safety hazard. Participants should bring a small snack and a water bottle.
The Spooky, Scary Stunting Clinic later in the afternoon is for ages 6+ and promises a night full of festive fun with Halloween games and lots of stunts and tumbling. Come dressed in costume! Premier Academy clinics tend to sell out fast, so be sure to register early.
Haunted Halloween Candy Hunt in the Dark

Explore Fort City Play World in the dark to hunt down delicious treats! Thirty guests per hunt will be let loose for approximately 20 minutes, then the rest of the time is for play. The toddler area will be kept separate for toddlers to enjoy. Come in costume and armed with a candy bucket and a flashlight!
Tickets are $3 plus the cost of admission.
Halloween Kids Night Out

Ready to get crafty? Paint-your-own ceramics studio Color Me Mine is hosting a Halloween party with painting, pizza, and a spooky movie! Attendees 5 and older will get a Halloween-themed piece to paint. If you come in costume, you'll be entered to win a prize!
The Halloween Party + Fashion Scream!

Halloween isn't just for kids! Get ready to have an epic adults-only Halloween party featuring live music, two DJs, drinks, costumes, and cash prizes for the best costumes on the dance floor. You can buy your tickets here.
If you do want someplace you can bring your kids along, though, never fear! Just come earlier in the day. The Fashion Scream costume party and fashion show is being held in the same place from noon to three. There will be music, activities, a photo booth, and a runway to strut your stuff in costume. Tickets for the fashion show are here, with proceeds going to Wood Buffalo Presents.
